MILK DEPOT

CYHS is proud to be the home of Madison County’s first human milk depot.

We collect human breast milk donations from healthy, lactating women who are approved donors through Mother’s Milk Bank of the Western Great Lakes.

The donations are then sent to the milk bank where they are pasteurized. After pasteurization, the milk is tested again for safety and distributed to hospitals. If you would like to donate, please call 1-847-262-5134 to get screened.
