Educational Enhancement Program
The EEP was established to assist students who require an educational program different than traditional settings can offer. This program is an Illinois State Board of Education approved non-public educational center for students with special education needs. CYHS serve students ages 6-21, with a staff of certified teachers, social workers and para-professionals.
The EEP provides students with practical skills in making positive decisions that foster an improved sense of self-confidence.
The primary objective is equipping students with behavioral skills by framing everyday decisions into the form of choices. Commitment to the program’s services will ensure successful academic and behavioral outcomes that will create a lifelong learner.
At CYHS, we believe that through participation, cooperation and proper guidance, we can empower students to reach their full potential in academic achievement. Creating a successful EEP doesn’t just involve the student; we strive for total involvement on the part of parents/guardians as well. All parties need to participate in the planning and follow-through of the student’s academic program. We have found that once our students commit themselves to this program, success is in his or her future.
